About Ron Neumeyer Photomicrographer

Ron Neumeyer is a retired biologist now residing in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Ron specializes in photomicrographic and photomacrographic imaging using various light microscope techniques. Over the past 30 years he has used both conventional and digital camera systems to capture the beauty and uniqueness of the micro-world.

In the late ‘90s he established an internet site the “Microscope Forum”. The popular forum contains numerous links to sites of interest to light microscopists, a description of the parts of a microscope and a collection of his outstanding digital images.

Ron’s company, BC Microimaging, offers high quality digital imaging of subjects too small for normal photography. The resulting images can be used to support scientific investigation and educational programs, as well as provide decorative visuals that are both striking and unique."
