RoqSCAN™ is a real time, state-of-the-art, fully portable, quantitative and automated mineralogical analysis system. Jointly developed by Carl Zeiss and Fugro Robertson, RoqSCAN™ is specifically designed for on-site deployment in the field of oil and gas exploration
Carl Zeiss, manufacturer of the first commercial Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), were also the first manufacturer to develop field based SEM solutions for use in military and civil aviation safety monitoring. With over 100 field based systems in daily operation around the world, the development of RoqSCAN™ draws upon this experience to produce the first rugged, SEM dedicated for well site applications.
