Electron Microscopy Sciences is pleased to add the INFINITY4-11, a new large format CCD camera and the INFINITYX-32 camera with up to 32 megapixel resolution to their products for microscopy imaging.
This camera offers incredible flexibility in capturing images at 2, 8, 16 and 32 megapixel resolution. Using the patented DeltaVu™ technology, each CCD pixel captures full chromatic information, resulting in increased color resolution with no degradation. The INFINITYX-32 is the first pixel shifting camera to utilize the highly sensitive SONY ICX274 sensor. The relatively low cost of the INFINITYX-32 makes it an affordable tool for clinical, life and material sciences where megapixel resolution, color accuracy, and light sensitivity are essential.
The INFINITY4-11, eleven megapixel sensor matches the field of view of a 35mm camera with a 43.3mm diagonal and boasts superior color reproduction - ideal for high-end scientific, industrial, medical, ophthalmic and life science applications. With 3.5 fps at full 4008 x 2672 resolution, up to 60 fps through binning and ROI and based on a Kodak KAI-11002 progressive scan CCD sensor, this camera provides excellent sensitivity and color reproduction for research miscroscopists. The camera’s adaptability to varying resolution and frame rate requirements, combined with low noise performance and 8 or 12-bit pixel data mode, make the INFINITY4-11 an ideal camera for both live and fixed cell imaging.
